Terrible hotel for its price. Room is very old, unconfortable, ran down, bathroom with strong smell of mold (terrible for my alergy!). Hotel staff is friendly but not very helpful (called the hotel to find out how to arrive from airport to hotel by public transport but the receptionist told me she did not know since she never did it and did not care to try and find out). Hotel is way too expensive for what it offers. Right after my stay there, I went to a 4 star hotel in central London for the same price! The room is extremily noise with no soundproofing what so ever. I could clearly hear the neighbours next door and all the noise that came from the street (the front street is quite busy) Strongly not recommended.
No nonsense - quick in and out. Efficient friendly staff.
Single room small like a ships cabin which is fine on a ship. The parking was atrocious.
Staff were very pleasant. Receptionist wasnt sure about the food options in the restaurant. But we had a meal downstairs and it was very good.
Rooms were small. I could hear my next door neighbour snore all night.
Was close to the town centre and the staff were friendly.
The shower was warm (not hot), the trouser press was coming away from the wall and the toilet seat was broken. There was no milk in the room to make a hot drink when I arrived.
Excellent value for money, good young crowd, nice location, good bedrooms, nice views
Decent value for money. Hotel is situated in a very busy part of Bristol, very close to centre and restaurants and parking is extremely difficult but hotel has a large, secured, garage (£6.50 per night I think)which can hold about 10 cars.
A quiet and clean place with a friendly staff.
The Cheap prices, the staff, the food.
I wasn't too keen on having fleecy sheets on the bed I would much prefer a duvet.
Very pleasant, good service, excellent breakfast, but not cheap.
staff were very nice.
paid for a room with a fridge which didnt work. not good value for money room expensive and was no bigger than a box!
the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant downstairs was good
the first night we stayed on the same side as the restaurant which is also a bar so were woken by the noise of people outside smoking and at closing time. However staff were very obliging and moved us for the second night
Tremendously friendly, helpful staff
The water system was erratic. The soundproofing was abysmal.
Noise, other hotel guests, dated furniture, breakfast not included
A lovely clean room with a bowl of fruit to welcome me and a creative flourish of towels to remind me of the hospitality of a fine Egyptian cruise.
Noisy room over bar - which went on until 2.00 am - no hot water and breakfast not available until 8 on Sunday and I had to leave by 07.30 and was not provided with even a simple uncooked breakfast.
